Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope

SpaceX's Falcon Heavy launches NASA's Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope from Kennedy Space Center on a mission to a Sun-Earth L2 orbit. The payload is a wide-field infrared space observatory with a 2.4-meter telescope, Wide Field Instrument, and Coronagraph Technology Demonstration that surveys the cosmos to study dark energy, dark matter, exoplanets, and infrared astrophysics.
